- It should be a safe storage area for your car or cars. It could be an area where the cars can be serviced
- One can store all the accessories required to maintain a car. All the tools and materials can be kept there
- Get rid of stuff, which can be sold in a garage sale. Keep only stuff which is essentially useful around the house
- Sufficient space should be there to service the cars as well as park them

- Make sure the floor is properly maintained, like one can purchase mats etc
A Garage can be a good storage area for many useful items and therefore should be functionally furnished. It should not become a place where one just dumps unwanted items. Much time should be given to it to ensure that it is a safe place for cars to be parked.
