An indoor house garden adds charm and grace to the house. If the plants are grown in the right way, your house will look like “ Paradise Itself”. Keeping an indoor garden also purifies the air in your house.

Here are some points that you need to keep in mind.

Ventilation: Select a spot wherein the plants get enough of sunlight and space to grow. Make sure that they are supplied with enough humidity and moisture. If this is not possible make sure you select plants that grow best in shady conditions. Place plants in accordance to their need for sunlight.

Lighting: Depending on the type of plant, lighting should be provided. Vegetables may need fluorescent lighting. Flowers and fruits on the other hand may require sodium lighting.

Exhaust Fan: Make sure you have an exhaust fan in your garden to drive away the heat.

Thermometer: Keep a thermometer in your garden; if there is too much of fluctuation in the temperature then the atmosphere is not a conducive one for plant growth.

Flower Pots: Make sure you wash the pots thoroughly before using them. Also, buy ones and decorate them in accordance to the ambience of the room.

Waterfalls: Keeping a mini fountain in the room will beautify your indoor garden.

Recommended Plants, which are affordable and easy to care, are: The Pothos, Spider plant and the Snake tongue also known as the Mother In Laws Tongue.
