Tips On Cleaning Greased Up Pans

Cooking is an enriching experience but the scrubbing and cleaning that follows it is a painful procedure. Especially when food gets burnt and gets stuck, real bad to the surface of the cookware. No matter what, this stubborn layer of food refuses to get out of the dish.

One needs to really scrub the dishes hard and put in all their effort.

Well, scrubbing wouldn’t be all that bad if the following points were kept in mind.

1) Take the dish, which is loaded up with burnt food and add some water and baking soda to it.
2) Let the mixture boil.
3) You will see the stubborn food particles, which were stuck up to the pan loosen up.
4) Now add some dishwashing liquid to this mixture.
5) Let the mixture cool, now scrub the pan and you will be able to wash it clean.

How to Clean Cans?
Here are tips on how to clean burnt pans, cast iron pans, aluminum cans etc.

  • How to clean Aluminum pans: Many have doubts on how to clean pitted aluminum cans. For this, fill the aluminum pan with hot water and let it remain for 1 hour. Now you can scrub the pan with a non-sharp object such as spatula, wooden spoon etc.
  • How to clean Rusted cast iron pans: For cleaning rusted cast iron pans, pour vegetable oil and 2 to 4 tablespoons of salt in the pan. Now scrub the rusted areas with a cloth and wash it. You can also use vinegar to get rid of the rust
  • How to clean Burnt pans: If you are worried about how to clean burnt pans, here is a way. Initially remove the burnt matter with water. Now, fill the pan with water and pour some dishwasher liquid into it. Boil this for about 10 minutes. After this, you can easily scrape the burnt matter.
  • How to clean Copper pans: Fill the pan with water, 1 cup of vinegar and 1 spoon of salt. Boil the pan for few hours. Now, scrub the pan and wash it
