How To Clean Your House In A Tight Budget
Read on to know how to effectively clean your house without burning a hole in your pocket:
- Use Vinegar: Use vinegar to clean windows and newspapers to wipe it. What you have is a very clean window and no paper fibers on the glass surface. You can use the vinegar by spraying it raw or diluting it with some water. You can recycle the paper after use as there is no harsh chemicals that has been used.
- Say No To Paper Towels: Use a micro fiber dusting cloth instead. You cannot imagine the kind of money you will save if you can do it. Do the same with your your kitchen wipes. Avoid the chemical cleaners as they are expensive and spreads chemicals.
- Use Baking Soda: When the situation can not be handled with vinegar alone bring in some baking soda. There will be a fizzy reaction but you will definitely get rid of the grime. Before putting the two in the entire surface of the thing do a spot test, so that you come to know whether you can go ahead with it.
- Shine Wood With Olive Oil: Yes a quarter of the oil with some fresh lime juice is all you need for your wooden furniture. You can also put into the solution some drops of vinegar.
- Use Tea Bags: When you cannot use oil use tea bags, i.e, boil some ten tea bags in some water. Allow the water to cool so that you can mop the floor with it. The tannins in the tea will help the wooden floor retain its color. It may also brighten it up by a couple of shades. So, this cannot be used for very light colored wooden floor.
Have a cleaner home with these simple and almost inexpensive ways.
